NARO-MORU ROUT.
This is the quickest way to ascend with two manned huts i.e met station and Makinders vegetation- Alphine vegetation above tropical rain forest. Bamboo and Hygenia zones.
SIRIMON ROUTE
This is the driest northern side of Mt. Kenya which gives a gentle ascend to the bottom of the main peaks. It has two manned huts, i. e. Judimmier, Shiptons and various camp sites.
CHOGORIA
This route is on the eastern side of Mt. Kenya and the most beautiful with a long stretch of the rain forest, Bamboo and Alpine vegetation zones before reaching the eye catching Gorges valley and main peaks emerging at the top.
